Scandicare supports awareness raising and training to the special needs children and families, all the teachers, boys and girls in the target schools in Kajiado North. Also eco-friendly sanitary products provided to the targets groups.

By end of 2022 1784 beneficiries trained on MHH. 774 menstrual products distributed.

Project aimd to: increase awareness & reduce stigma with the overall goal of reducing school drop out rates for the special need girls.

Mental Health Management (MHM)

Scandicare provides and supports awareness raising, training and psychosocial support to the special needs children and their families, teachers, boys and girls in the target schools in Kajiado North.

The project aimd to: increase awareness on mental health, reduce stigma, increase change of attitude and support services for the special needs children and their families.

Physiotherapy Support Services (PSS)

Scandicare’s plan of constructing a physiotherapy centre in Kajiado North is work in progress. Once complete, the centre will provide affordable quality physiotherapy services to the target children.
